But the wax you applied is permanent or not??
Or it need to be polished after every few weeks to hide the buffed area?

Ok I just did this on my car and it worked really well. However on final inspection, and even though I used the sponge method, i have one fingerprint size area where I seem to have applied too much pressure in one area and so have a dull Mark compared to rest of the repair. Any tips on how to fix that would be gratefully received

just used this method today on my wife's 328I and it worked great, did take a LOT of elbow grease .. I used 2000 then 3000 grit as that's all I could find , all other items as list in the  video

Wait. Does the polish and wax eventually come off and you're left with that hazy mess from sanding again?
