As someone else said, I've been doing it all wrong also. I've been messing with and trying to remove the eponychium (I thought that was the cuticle)! No wonder I keep getting hangnails. I give myself a manicure about every 10 days and I use cuticle remover… I was just removing the wrong thing. I also use cuticle cream several times a day. Now that I know, maybe I can get my cuticles looking good. Thanks so much for this video.

Why do the people on You Tube insist on blasting music, then reducing the volume to annoy the viewer, It's so distracting. Please go back to your video editor and take it out. Thank You.

okay so at one point, I got my finger slammed in a door at school. My finger nail will not grow back and the eponichyium hurts. I just don't know what to do. If you could reply that would be great and thanks for your time. Side note this injury was a couple years back.

I have long nail beds and idk whether oval/almond shaped nails or square/squoval nails will suit me most 🙁 and I find it difficult to push back the cuticles on my right hand 🙁

What about if you have a ton of excess cuticle? I have really long cuticles and I prefer to cut them to keep them tidy, but I don't cut all of it. I push them back, and then there's this long bit that stays stuck to the cuticle itself. Is it wrong to cut this dead bit off?

Question: I saw your video about cuticle oil, and you said your favorite one was Star Kin. Since you are in New Zealand, you can get it there, but does it have a website/ship to the U.S? I think that it looks so fricking cute and I really want one!

I bought a cuticle remover from the brand Esteemia(I couldn't find another one) and every time I finish using this product it leaves like a matte color to my natural nails(my nails are naturally shiny) is this normal? Does every cuticle remover are like that?

@Cutepolish I have a question! I have different shaped eponychiums (cuticles) on every finger. Some are round, some are more sqaured. I don't see this difference on any Youtubers nails (everyone just seem to have either more round or square shaped eponychiums) and I never know how to finish up my clean-ups to make it look neat. Should I make them all square? Should I just follow the shape and have a different finish on every nail? Is there anything I can do to make the difference in shape less obvious? I would really love some advice!
